An Abundance of Apricots is a collection of poetry and prose split into three parts: The Peel, The Pulp, and The Pit. Detailing the most saccharine loss of childhood innocence and pains of developing self-identity through love and heartbreak in all shapes and sizes.

This story is not neat and tidy. This story is littered with hungry girls, fictional boys and malignant maligners. This story is tainted with love that has been scraped from the floor. Love which has been shattered again and again. Love which has been glued together too many times. Love which looks just like your mother, but has your father’s eyes. The people are made of glass bones and paper skin. They are fragile and sensitive. Swayed by the wind, yet still looking for lovers with destructive hands. With sharpened teeth and gravel words. Lovers who do not know how to love, or who arrived much too soon—before either of them were ready—Lovers who look for healing through books with torn pages. I’ve written, bled and cried all over this book. So, I’m sorry for the mess I’ve made. I’m sorry for the scrambled love.
